6 months ago he became the defendant in the case of copyright infringement. A lawsuit was filed by ООО "Киноданц" (Kinodanz, llc). "Киноданц" also known as "кинофэил" ("кино" - movie, "фэил" - fail) because of all of their movies failed.
He was accused of "excessive quoting" (not regulated by russian law) and "too humorous movies criticism".
Fun facts:
All of "Киноданц" movies was sponsored by russian Ministry Of Culture and russian government. According to principles of financial support of russian movies the sponsorship was a bit illegal.
"За гранью реальности" - the movie for which BadComedian got a lawsuit - is about robbery of european casino by europeans. No idea where is russian culture in this movie 0_o
